Dear Sir,

In accordance with your request (through telephone yesterday) I called and asked Mr. Leech to wait on you to-day, for instructions re packing the other large picture - "The Tohunga Moko at Work" - for shipment to the St. Louis Exhibition. It only remains now for Mr. Donne to secure the necessary cover against all damage to, at, and from St. Louis, back to the Lindauer Gallery at Auckland.

The following are the Titles and Values, for Insurance, of the pictures I am lending the Government :-

I have asked Mr. Leech to supply you with measurements of cases and have them ready for shipment. Immediately the new cover is fixed so that I can advise and arrange with the office in which they are at present insured.
